Andorra is a small country consists of seven municipalities, namely Andorra la Vella, Canillo, Encamp, Escaldes-Engordany, La Massana, Ordino, and Sant Julià de Lòria. The Prime Minister of Andorra is the head of the government. The Judiciary system of Andorra is independent.
The river Valira flows through it towards Spain at 870 m. The climate of Andorra is temperate and very much similar like France or Spain. Snowfall is heavy in winter; summers are comparatively cool.
Andorra's main source of income is tourism which accounts nearly for its 80% of GDP. Its resorts attract nearly 9 million tourists every year from all corners of the world. Andorra's economy has affected a bit because its neighbors Spain and France have started up providing broader availability of goods and lower tariffs. The banking sector also contributes largely to the Andorra's economy.
Andorra imports food grains from other countries, as only 2% land is arable, not sufficient to food demand of the people.
Though Andorra is not a full member of European Union, but it is treated like member for trade in manufactured goods and as a non-EU member for agricultural products.
